Bare root plants:
We have a very limited quantity of bare root plants. We dig and
ship these in the spring.
Nursery / Green Growing Plants: Made to order.
Order in the fall or early winter - tell us your planting
schedule, we'll schedule the pruning, cuttings, soil mixture, heating beds ..., to
that schedule.
Success with Nursery Plants
We established our small vineyard using green growing nursery plants. Our Vivant and Norton
vineyards (one acre each) were both planted this way. They were planted
directly into the vineyard soil.
We were told when we planted the first vineyard that small nursery plants would catch up with rooted plants by the end of the first summer. For our vineyards this seemed to be true.
